Before you start cleaning, read the information on the label - this way you will be able to find out which product is suitable for cleaning car covers.

You can also focus on the type of fabric from which the products are made.

If you have velour covers, you can use either clean water or a 3% ammonia solution to remove stains.

In this case, all products containing chlorine, as well as solvents prepared using petroleum products, are prohibited.

Don't try to rub or scrape off dirt too hard - use a washing machine instead. The water temperature should not exceed 40 degrees, and use washing gel instead of powder.

A damp cloth will help to deal with a small stain left on a jacquard cover.

In addition, you can use a folk method - sprinkle salt on the contaminated area and leave it there for half an hour or an hour.

Machine wash is allowed at a temperature of 50 to 60 degrees (the exact values depend on the composition - synthetic or cotton).

If the car cover was made of flock or fabric with a base and glued pile, it is better to entrust the cleaning to professionals.
