In order to improve the quality of passenger service, meet the demand for rail transportation and take into account the expected growth in passenger traffic during the New Year and Christmas holidays, Belarusian Railways has appointed 239 additional interregional and international trains.
The Belarusian Railways press service reported this.
185 additional trains will run across Belarus on the most popular routes.
Thus, additional trains have been scheduled between Minsk and regional centers, as well as on the following routes: Minsk – Orsha – Krichev, Minsk – Pinsk, Gomel – Vitebsk, Brest – Gomel, Grodno – Orsha – Vitebsk and Kommunary – Orsha – Grodno.
In international traffic with Russia, additional trains have been scheduled on the following routes: Polotsk – Moscow, Brest – Minsk – Moscow and Minsk – St. Petersburg.
Belarusian Railways continues to work on assigning additional trains. Depending on demand, the number of seats in regular trains will be increased.
Tickets for additional trains can be purchased at the Belarusian Railways ticket offices, on the Belarusian Railways website and in the mobile application "BC.My Train".
