During the pre-New Year days in Belarus, the operating hours of over 250 retail outlets will be extended.
This was reported by the Ministry of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade.
As Natalia Melnikova, Head of the Department for Organization of Trade and Public Catering at the Ministry of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade, said at a press conference at the BELTA press center, the operating hours of trade and public catering facilities will be extended throughout the country in the pre-New Year days, in agreement with local executive authorities.
It is planned to extend the operating hours of more than 250 retail outlets and more than 280 catering establishments.
Cafes and restaurants are now accepting orders for New Year's lights and corporate events.
The estimated cost of pre-New Year events, according to a representative of the Ministry of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade, is from 50 to 330 rubles per person, depending on the format.
On New Year's Eve itself, the cost may be slightly higher, Melnikova clarified.
