The Ministry of Housing and Communal Services of Belarus has given recommendations to apartment residents ahead of the heating season.
The recommendations were voiced by the Deputy Head of the Department of Public Utilities and Energy of the Ministry of Housing and Public Utilities, Aleksey Filanovich, on September 18 on the sidelines of the second International Specialized Exhibition of Housing and Public Utilities, “Our Home.”
His statement is cited by BELTA .
To ensure that the apartment retains heat well, you should inspect the doors and windows, seal them and insulate them.
You should also inspect the heating devices for the functioning of the shut-off valves, the presence of leaks, corrosion, and rust.
It is important to paint heating devices in a timely manner. In order for them to work effectively, they should not be cluttered with furniture.
If any faults are detected, please contact the appropriate service by dialing 115.
