One of the largest refrigerator factories may be born in Baranovichi – Shuleiko
Information about the possible emergence of another refrigerator manufacturer in the country has recently appeared in the Belarusian press.
It was reported that the plant in Baranovichi could be built with the participation of the Chinese side.
This information was confirmed on air by Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Yuri Shuleiko on the STV channel.
The future enterprise was mentioned in the context of a conversation about the economic situation in the Brest region, which a government official called “balanced.”
He noted that local authorities are currently finalizing “certain points” on the instructions of the President.
The goal is to “make things even better,” since the enterprises of the Ministry of Industry operating in the region “had certain deficiencies.”
But the deputy head of government also sees a good trend.
One of the largest refrigerator manufacturing plants could be built in Baranovichi with a Chinese company, he said.
At present, according to information voiced by Shuleiko, discussions on this issue are underway.
