Belarusians were told the prices for New Year trees. They start from 20 rubles. The maximum cost exceeds 35 rubles.
The specific price depends on the region and the height of the plant, explained the press secretary of the Ministry of Forestry, Anastasia Matskevich.
She reminded that the Christmas tree market season has already opened in the country.
The first one began operating in the capital on December 14 – at the Minsk forestry enterprise (70 Bagration Street).
According to a representative of the Ministry of Forestry, although there is still time before the New Year, many compatriots are already lining up for the main holiday beauties.
Our citizens are so eager to fill their homes with pine scents and create a pre-holiday mood, Belta quotes the press secretary as saying.
By the way, she noted that Belarusians can not only buy spruce, but also get a good mood as a bonus due to participation in the proposed interactive programs.
Regarding prices, she said: they depend on the region and the growth of the tree.
For example, in the Minsk forestry enterprise, a spruce up to a meter costs about 20 rubles, from 1 to 2 meters - around 30 rubles, from 2 to 3 meters - a little more than 35 rubles.
New Year's plants in tubs will cost the buyer more - prices here start from 38 rubles.
The speaker noted that the cost of trees at Christmas tree markets is “more pleasant” compared to the cost of individual entrepreneurs.
Matskevich said that the reason for this is that the Christmas tree markets offer producer prices.
We grow the trees ourselves, we harvest them ourselves, we deliver them ourselves,” she explained.
