Currently, in Belarus, you can go hiking in the forest without restrictions only in one region of the country.

In the rest, there are prohibitions and these very restrictions. Due to weather conditions that pose a threat in terms of fire hazard.

The interactive map of the Ministry of Forestry “says” that only in one region can Belarusians freely go into the forest.

According to her data, visiting forests is currently only available in the Oktyabrsky district of the Gomel region.

As for the complete ban on such hikes, it is currently in effect in 15 districts of Vitebsk region, 20 districts of Mogilev region, 4 districts of Minsk region and 10 districts of Gomel region.

In other areas, including the entire Brest and Grodno regions, restrictions are in place.

It is worth noting that the situation may change during the day, which is displayed on the interactive map (in some places a ban or restriction will be lifted, in others it will be introduced).

But it is precisely on these days that the Ministry of Forestry recommends that compatriots not visit forests due to the high level of fire danger.
