The register of dangerous products banned from import and sale in Belarus has been expanded with ice cream and tomato paste from Russia and Spanish olives.

The press service of the State Committee for Standardization reported this on Telegram.

What products are prohibited for sale

Firstly, the ban included Helcom olives stuffed with paprika paste, produced in Spain.

The reason for the ban was the presence of sulfur dioxide in the product, which is unacceptable in olive production.

Secondly, Russian tomato paste “Moravka” was added to the register.

Thirdly, the register included strawberry ice cream produced by the Russian company Dream Factory.

The product replaces 88.2% of milk fat, while the standard is no more than 50%.
