Mass vaccination against influenza will begin in Belarus on October 3.
The press service of the Ministry of Health reported this on Telegram.
According to the Ministry of Health, it is planned to cover more than 2 million people with immunization.
Vaccinations will be provided free of charge using the Russian three-component vaccine "Grippol Plus".
It will be possible to get vaccinated with the French four-component vaccine Vaxigrip Tetra for a fee.
These preparations contain current strains of the influenza virus recommended by the World Health Organization for inclusion in seasonal vaccines.
Vaccination is a simple, safe, and effective way to protect against infection, the Ministry of Health reminded.
