In ten regions of Belarus, visiting forests has been permitted.
However, prohibitions and restrictions remain in place in most parts of the country.
According to the interactive map posted on the website of the Ministry of Forestry, visiting forests in five districts of the Grodno region (Grodno, Oshmyany, Ostrovets, Smorgon, Ivyevsky) is permitted.
In Novogrudok, Korelichi, and Dyatlovo districts of Grodno region, visiting forests is limited, in the rest it is prohibited.
Also, permission was granted to visit forests in two districts of Brest region (Kamenetsky and Gantsevichy) and three districts of Gomel region (Khoyniki, Zhitkovichi and Bragin).
In other areas of the Gomel and Brest regions, visiting forests is prohibited.
In the Mogilev region, restrictions remain in place in all districts.
In the Minsk region, bans are in effect in all districts except Myadel, Volozhin, Lyuban and Molodechno. Restrictions are in effect there.
In the Vitebsk region, it is prohibited to visit forests in all districts except Verkhnedvinsky, Rossonsky, Braslavsky, Gorodoksky, Sharkovshchinsky, Lepelsky and Gluboksky. In these districts, visiting forests is limited.
Due to the high fire hazard class, the Ministry of Forestry calls on people to refrain from visiting forests.
