Anna Kovalchuk became a volunteer: the actress helps abandoned children
Anna Kovalchuk, star of the TV series “The Master and Margarita” and “Secrets of the Investigation,” became a volunteer.
The 47-year-old actress decided to help abandoned children in hospitals, reports RuNews .
To her fans' surprise, Kovalchuk's blog featured photographs of babies from hospitals.
The woman explained that these children were abandoned children from orphanages who were sent to healthcare facilities for treatment and were left there completely alone.
“Dozens of children continue to be left alone behind the iron bars of children’s hospital beds,” writes Kovalchuk.
Anna first learned about this problem when she was in the hospital with her then-little daughter Zlata.
What she saw had such an impact on the artist that she decided to become a member of a charity organization that cares for children in St. Petersburg hospitals, including children with disabilities.
Kovalchuk called on all concerned people to support them by becoming a volunteer or making a monthly donation.
