Students at Naples High School in Maine, USA, are extremely lucky: their teacher is a real record holder.
Basketball coach Ryan Martin has set a new world record for most three-pointers made in one hour.
60 minutes was enough for him to successfully make more than a thousand (1,134 to be exact) three-point shots.
This puts him ahead of Oregon's Daniel Lorio, who made 1,077 three-point shots in an hour.
Daniel set this achievement back in 2012, and is still the current record holder – until the Guinness Book of Records representatives review Martin’s application.
They will decide whether Ryan's attempt to set a new world record can be counted.
By the way, it is the second one, and in order to make it, according to Martin, he had to enter into a battle with himself.
“Five, twenty minutes – there are still about forty minutes to go, and my body is already tired,” is how the coach described his feelings.
