A Chinese pilot has set a world record by opening six bottles of beer in three minutes, but he did it using a bottle opener built into the footrest of a helicopter.
Initially, the pilot only managed to break a local record, as he managed to open four bottles in 5 minutes in October 2015.
But already in December of the same year he achieved his goal and was included in the Guinness Book of Records.
Zhao Yang participated in one of the episodes of the show "Challenge the Impossible".
Previously, the pilot took part in national helicopter sports competitions and was only able to open one bottle in 4 minutes.
He usually pilots a helicopter to apply fertilizer, and as part of the program he attempted to set a new world record.
To do this, he needed to secure the bottles to the poles.
The opener was mounted on the helicopter's footrest.
Young had to control not only the height of the machine, but also precisely position the opener over the bottle.
Previously, the record was set by German Jan Wien, who was able to open 4 bottles of beer in 3 minutes (2008).
