The American woman was first mentioned in the reference book as the fattest woman in the world.

The figures are astounding: Bradford’s peak weight was 544 kilograms, and she managed to lose… 416 kilograms!
Rosalie was born in the summer of 1943. She faced severe obesity as a child.
Bradford weighed 92 kilograms at 14 years old. At the age of 15, the girl weighed 140 kilograms.
In early 1987, the woman's weight reached a record high of 544 kilograms. Her BMI was 193.6 at the time, with the norm being 18.5-25.
Then the American woman realized that the problem needed to be solved. And the woman really managed to pull herself together and show great willpower.
She began to follow the diet suggested by the specialists and do the exercises that she was able to do.
In a year, Bradford lost 190 kilograms. And in the end, the American lost 416 kilograms and began to weigh 128 kilograms.
Having achieved this incredible result, the woman stopped following the diet. As a result, she gained almost 70 kilograms in 2 years.
Bradford then went back to eating healthy again. As a result, she weighed 90 kilograms.
The record holder died in the fall of 2006. The woman was 63 years old at the time. The cause of death was problems that arose after surgery to remove excess skin.
