Why Madeleine Albrecht's Record Is Unlikely to Be "Broken"

The smell of an unwashed human body is not the worst, which is confirmed by scientific research. There are worse ones.

However, it is unlikely that anyone would willingly agree to inhale the "aroma" of dirty feet or unwashed armpits. Unless you count Madame Madeleine Albrecht.

During her 15-year career at the Hill Top Research Laboratory in Cincinnati (USA, Ohio), the unfortunate woman set a record that hardly anyone would dare to “break.”

Working in the body care industry, the woman, due to her job responsibilities, was forced to test finished products.

Let's face it, Mrs. Albrecht sniffed other people's feet and armpits.

At that time, there was no other way to test the effectiveness of manufactured products.

Coming to work every day, the persistent woman sniffed about 5,600 feet over 15 years.

It is difficult to say exactly how many armpits she sniffed, but even by the most conservative estimates this figure would be at least 6,000 tests.

The record has been set, but time will tell whether there will be daredevils who will raise the bar.
