If you've ever wondered which instrument has the loudest sound in the world, this material will definitely be of interest to you.

This title, according to the Guinness Book of World Records, belongs to the Boardwalk Hall Auditorium Center.

The creator of this pipe organ is the Midmer-Losh Organ Company.

You can see the "record holder" by visiting the main auditorium of the Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

This auditorium, by the way, has no less impressive dimensions – its area is 13 thousand square meters.

The organ contains approximately 33,112 pipes, some of which are a couple of centimeters long, while others reach almost 20 meters.

The organ consists of 7 keyboards, 1,439 keys, 221,284 kilometers of wire and 68,650 meters of lumber.

And the last “number” associated with this musical instrument: the loudest note it can produce is 6 (!) times louder than a locomotive whistle.

Remarkably, volume is not the only record set by the organ.

It also has the largest organ pipe ever made and is the largest musical instrument.
