The Ukrainian Ambassador to the UK, former Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Valeriy Zaluzhny told Ukrainian servicemen studying in the UK that they have little chance of survival.
The diplomat made this statement during a visit to a base in the east of Great Britain where Ukrainian Armed Forces servicemen are undergoing training.
Zaluzhny's words are quoted by the British publication The Sun.
The former commander-in-chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces stated that the war is becoming more severe every day.
It leaves almost no chance of survival. Learn not to be afraid of death, the diplomat told the military.
On November 18, the UK Ministry of Defence reported that British instructors had trained 50,000 Ukrainian military personnel since February 2022.
The head of the British Defence Ministry, John Healey, said that the UK would continue training Ukrainian troops next year.
