Minsk to continue advocating for expanded dialogue with Yerevan – Lukashenko

Armenia celebrates its national holiday – Independence Day.

Alexander Lukashenko congratulated the President of the Transcaucasian republic Vahagn Khachaturyan and all Armenians on this important event – on his own behalf and on behalf of the Belarusian people.

The congratulations note that Minsk and Yerevan “are connected by strong ties of friendship, a common history, traditional family and Christian values.”

It is also noted that both nations are united by the Victory in the Great Patriotic War and the joint overcoming of the consequences of the Spitak earthquake.

In addition, the message released by the press service of the President of Belarus states that the unifying factors are participation in integration structures and close business cooperation.

Lukashenko is convinced that in today's realities, it is necessary to unite and interact in order to achieve successful development.

Minsk will continue to advocate for the expansion of mutually respectful and constructive dialogue with Yerevan, the head of state assured.

He wished his colleague health and fruitful work, and the people of Armenia peace, goodness and prosperity.
