French President Emmanuel Macron has called on Europe to take into account its geographical reality and reconsider its relations with Russia in the future.

The politician stated this while speaking at an international conference on peace issues in Paris.

The head of state recommends “thinking about the world in a new form.”

It is necessary to take into account the geographical reality of Europe, which is not limited to either the EU or, most certainly, NATO, the MIA Rossiya Segodnya quotes the French leader as saying.

Speaking about the need to “think about a new form of organizing Europe,” Macron also urged “rethinking relations with Russia in the future.”

He also called for work to rethink "peace on this continent."

And he reminded: the current world order was formed after the Second World War.

This was a period when some of the countries that are densely populated today did not yet exist.

For this reason, the French President expressed his conviction, the world in its current form is “incomplete and unfair.”

Macron proposes an order "in which countries are represented with dignity."

Therefore, they will do this through much fairer bodies, whether it is the United Nations, the World Bank or the International Monetary Fund, he added.

And then he assured those who heard him that he would raise this issue at the 79th session of the UN General Assembly (scheduled for next week).
