It is generally accepted that all dogs, without exception, are our loyal friends.
However, animals may not agree with this position.
Even a domestic dog can sometimes "show its teeth", which alarms its owners.
If an animal is in pain and feels bad, it simply cannot control itself. At such moments, the dog just wants to lie down in the hope that the symptoms will go away on their own.
If the owner tries to stir the pet at such a moment, the dog may growl.
In such cases, experts recommend making an appointment with a veterinarian.
It may seem incredible to many, but a dog is quite capable of considering itself the leader of the pack. If family members are too protective of the dog and put its interests above others, then the dog begins to consider itself the leader of the "pack".
And leaders may well growl at their "subordinates", even if they are members of his family.
During play, growling sounds are normal unless they are followed by biting and aggression. Dogs at such moments simply release emotions and completely surrender to the game.
