Only attentive and inquisitive dog owners think about what this or that behavior of their pet means.
For example, everyone has seen at least once in their life a dog that puts its head on the ground in front of its owner. This gesture cannot be ignored.
A dog can behave this way in different situations: on a walk, at home, etc.
The dog demonstrates its obedience and willingness to obey to its owner.
A dog can do the same in front of a stronger relative, an enemy.
In one case, the gesture indicates that the pet submits and recognizes the power of another animal.
But in the case of a person, the dog is more likely to say that it is ready to be obedient.
Dogs also experience stress and anxiety. Their nervous system is no less sensitive, and therefore the pet is not alien to various kinds of emotions.
Perhaps the dog is frightened or disturbed by something. These could be loud sounds, natural phenomena, sharp gestures, etc.
Having ruled out factors of stress or pressure on the pet, an attentive owner should suspect that the dog is feeling unwell.
If the gesture is repeated regularly without any apparent reason, it is better to show the dog to a specialist. In this case, only a veterinarian can determine the cause.
