American scientists, during a scientific experiment, discovered that dogs like to watch TV.
Moreover, scientists have found out which programs are of greatest interest to dogs.
American scientists conducted a very curious experiment.
While intending to study the peculiarities of dog vision and other details, the researchers quite by chance noticed that the animals had some interest in television.
As part of an experiment aimed at establishing visual characteristics, dogs were shown a variety of video clips.
At the same time, scientists began to notice that dogs had different interests in different formats.
In addition, interest in TV programs depended on the dog's age, breed and vision condition.
Next, a rating of programs for dogs was compiled.
The pets liked the most the programs about the life of shepherd and sport dogs, as well as other programs about animals.
The dogs reacted to them most actively.
Shows about people attracted less interest. They ended up somewhere in the middle of the rating (there were seventeen positions in total).
Only 10% of the dogs participating in the experiment were interested in cartoons.
It also turned out that dogs like dynamic content. Monotonous content did not attract the animals' attention.
