Some of our four-legged people have a strange habit: they often lie down on their owner, and sometimes even fall asleep on him.

Many people are happy when their pet exhibits this behavior.

The owners come to the conclusion that the fluffy one is trying to show his love and affection.

Unfortunately, this is not always the case. Sometimes it is the other way around.

There are several possible explanations for why a cat wants to lie on a person.

The cat demonstrates its superiority

It is possible that the pet is showing the owner: “I am on a higher level of the hierarchy.”

Of course, the cat is unlikely to be the head of the family. But it is possible that the animal perceives the situation exactly that way.

The cat wants to warm up

Fluffy creatures always try to stay close to heat sources.

This explains the pet’s desire to climb onto the radiator or the TV.

The cat also feels warm next to a person. At least, the animal feels much better than when it is on the bare floor.

In this case, the kitten really demonstrates trust and affection for the owner.

But still, don't rush to rejoice. It's possible that your temperature just rose and you didn't even feel it.

Use a medical thermometer to find out if you are sick.
