It is believed that every dog resembles its owner. Now this folk wisdom has been tested from a scientific point of view.

It turned out that raising a dog is similar to raising a child, and therefore the owner’s mood is reflected in the character of his four-legged friend.

Scientists have studied the relationship between an owner and his dog and have come to some interesting conclusions.

Just as the habits and behavior of parents affect the development and behavior of a child, so the temperament of an owner is reflected in his dog.

A total of 48 dog owners were surveyed in the study.

In this way, scientists were able to identify the “authoritative, authoritarian, and permissive” personality types of pet owners.

Then we observed the pets.

It turned out that in the first case, the dog adopts strict rules; the second type are strict people who often use punishment and shouting; in the third, people who do not demand anything special from their pet and generally rarely care about its needs.

And, as it turned out, it was the authoritative dog owners who had the most active, intellectually gifted and loyal dogs.

The dogs of authoritarian owners lacked confidence, and in the third case, discipline.

The findings provide evidence that the bond between owner and dog is similar to that between parents and children.

This means that the success of education or training depends on the owner, not on the animal.
