Should you force your cat to finish its food?
There are several reasons why cats leave food in their bowl.
It is possible that your pet does not like this particular food, but most often the problem is that the portions are too large.
A cat's stomach is about the size of a ping-pong ball and can hold only 1-2 tablespoons of food.
It is unlikely that you will be able to train your pet to finish the food, cats do not like stale food. Just feed the cat small portions.
