1. Play with your pet for at least 15-20 minutes, especially in the evenings. You don't have to be an expert to figure out what your cat is doing while she's home alone. After getting enough sleep during the day and eating her fill in the evening, she'll simply have to spend her accumulated energy somewhere. Cats are no exception.
2. Do not feed your pet at random, but specifically half an hour before you are going to bed. A morning and evening feeding schedule is useful in terms of combating cat insomnia. Therefore, the evening meal should follow the obligatory games and entertainment of the pet.
3. In theory, after this, the pet should wash itself and lie down at the owner's feet to sleep. But at 3-4 o'clock in the morning, it will certainly wake up. What motivates the well-fed animal at this moment is unclear. You can try to leave the pet a supply of food, but you can't fool instincts, and the cat can find something to do to its liking - toys or exercise. The main thing here is to hold back and not give the cat a new portion of food. Otherwise, the feeding will be repeated the next night.
