When a cat touches its owner's face, it causes confusion in him. But is it really worth being surprised by such behavior of a pet?

People, like cats, may not be very tactile, and therefore they will not be very pleased if a pet decides to touch their face with its not always clean paws.

However, cats often stand on their hind legs and try to touch a person's face with their front paws. At the same time, the animal very rarely releases its claws. What should you do with your pet in such a situation? Drive it away? Or pay attention to its gesture? What does a cat demand from a person when it invades his personal space?

She was hungry

Most likely, the cat just wants to eat, and so it is trying to let the person know that he should feed it quickly.
In this case, if the cat's bowl is full, it means that it needs to change the water or add some fresh food. Or maybe the cat thinks that its bowl is too dirty and it doesn't want to eat from it, so the owner needs to clean it up.

A cat in its own territory

In fact, cats rarely consider a person to be the master of his own house. The cat thinks that she is the leader, and therefore it is she who should decide where she will sleep and where the owner will rest.
Therefore, if a cat suddenly wants to take a cozy place where a person is already lying, it will try to drive him away or politely ask him to get up and leave.

A cat needs affection too

Perhaps the person has not communicated with his pet for a long time, and therefore she is trying to attract his attention to herself. You just need to stroke your fluffy one and talk to him. If the cat purrs, it means she is happy and the person did everything right.

The cat does not want to communicate

Or maybe, on the contrary, a person bothers his cat too often, and that's why she tries to explain to him that he should leave her alone. Sometimes a person needs to listen and not bother his pet, otherwise the latter will release its claws in response.
