It is absolutely normal for a person to plunge into the amazing world of dreams at night, but what about our smaller brothers?

It turns out that the same can be said about cats - scientists have discovered that these animals can also dream.

Unfortunately, it is impossible to know what exactly the pets saw in their dreams.

There is a theory that during the REM phase of sleep, images from real life appear in the brains of cats.

What is interesting is that cats sometimes remember what they saw in a dream, but the duration of the memories is short and does not exceed 20 seconds.

Experts suggest that whiskered and striped animals can see patrols of their territories, battles with opponents, the process of washing themselves, or the act of hunting in their dreams.

In their dreams, cats may experience feelings such as fear, anger, or rage.

But Barsika and Murka do not have “romantic” dreams – this is explained by the fact that the search for a partner and subsequent mating is just a strong instinct for them.
