Vitamins, when viewed scientifically, are different organic compounds that help the body grow and stay healthy.
As a rule, to get the necessary dose of vitamins, people only need to stick to a balanced diet (although there are exceptions, but we'll talk about that another time).
However, many of us take vitamins additionally. The main thing is not to overdo it.
The human body needs a certain amount of each vitamin. If the required amount is exceeded, you will have to "get acquainted" with a variety of diseases.
Let's look at some examples. So, if you consume more vitamin A than you need, it is likely that your hair will start to fall out, your liver will be damaged, and you will have severe headaches.
In turn, too much vitamin D can lead to heart rhythm disturbances, constipation, muscle weakness and confusion.
Let's finish with vitamin C: too much of it can cause nausea, diarrhea and stomach cramps.
An "overdose" of vitamins is only possible if a person eats them in really large quantities. A fatal overdose is technically possible (though unlikely) - however, as with the use of any other product.
