Some people are very good psychologists.

They know how to ask people for help correctly.

Such tricksters ask the following question: “Could you help me?”

They understand that this phrase is a so-called psychological hook.

The interlocutor, who is not yet aware of the essence of the request, will most likely agree to help. And when he finds out what exactly he is being asked for, he will no longer be able to refuse.

And if he still tries to say “no”, he will hear the following complaint: “But you promised!”

Therefore, if you are asked a tricky question, do not rush to say "yes" right away. You need to act differently.

How to properly answer the question "Could you help me?"

Did you hear this question? Know: it is quite possible that they are trying to put psychological pressure on you. Especially if the essence of the request is not yet clear.

The other person probably wants to hear an affirmative answer from you in advance, so that you can’t refuse later.

Therefore, instead of “yes”, it is better to say the following: “It depends on what.”

This answer is good because it is not a direct refusal and at the same time it is not an agreement. In other words, the person does not make any promises.

Moreover, the phrase forces the person making the request to reveal the essence of the request.

Earlier we talked about how to react more easily to failures and not worry about them.
