A Gomel resident provided a certificate with a corrected date to his work and became a defendant in a criminal case.
The press service of the State Committee of Forensic Expertise reported this on Telegram.
In July, the police received materials from an investigation into a Gomel resident who, after a long absence from work, provided a certificate stating that he had been in the temporary detention facility of the Gomel Regional Executive Committee Department of Internal Affairs the entire time.
The company's leading HR specialist questioned the authenticity of the dates indicated in the document.
The certificate was sent for examination to the Gomel inter-district department of the State Forensic Expertise.
The examination showed that the number “9” was added to the certificate over the number “4” and other numbers of the date were circled.
The original content of the recordings was “04 07 24,” the State Forensic Science Committee said in a statement.
The results of the examination were transferred to the initiator of its appointment, and a criminal case was opened against the Gomel resident.
