Why do leaves turn black?
1. This is a common occurrence when there is a lack of boron in the soil. Then the leaves also start to curl.
2. Another common cause is dry air.
Due to the large amount of dust particles in the air and low humidity, the leaves also turn black.
But in this case, the edges and tips of the leaves dry out.
3. Also, blackness may be associated with a fungal infection of the tree.
In this case, the plates become covered with spots.
It is usually observed at the end of the season, but it happens that the disease can affect the tree at the end of spring.
4. Another reason is bacterial burn (young shoots dry out, the tops of the branches curl downwards like a hook), scab and other diseases, as well as insect pests.
How to save a tree
1. If it is scab, then first you need to remove the affected parts of the tree and burn them, and then treat with fungicides in 3 stages.
You can use Skor, Horus and other developments according to the instructions.
2. Some folk recipes based on mustard, laundry soap, or ash are suitable for parasites (mites, aphids).
Industrial products used include Fufanon, Iskra-M, Actellik, Apollo, etc.
3. In case of bacterial burn, treatment begins after pruning. Use Fitolavin preparations 4 times per season.
Gardeners should inspect the tree more often, not neglect pruning, and then a rich harvest will be ensured.
