At the beginning of December, mummified fruits are clearly visible on the trees. And this is quite understandable: the leaf blades have long since fallen off.
Be sure to check all woody plants growing in your dacha and remove any fruit that should have been removed in the fall.
If you do not do this, potential carriers of the "infection" will remain on the garden crops. And this is fraught with the appearance of serious diseases for the trees.
Nests of wintering pests
At the beginning of the calendar winter, nests of those pests that easily tolerate frost and other unfavorable weather conditions typical of winter must be removed from the trees.
If you do not do this, then at the beginning of the next summer cottage season, fruit crops will be attacked by creatures that are dangerous to them.
