With the onset of the calendar winter, many gardeners and vegetable growers stop visiting their country plots.
And in vain, because there is work to be found at the dacha even in frosty and snowy times of the year.
So, in December it is necessary to carry out two procedures related to greenhouses.
What actions exactly are we talking about? This question was answered by the expert of the online publication "BelNovosti", scientist-agronomist and landscape designer Anastasia Kovrizhnykh.
In winter, a lot of white "flakes" can accumulate on the greenhouse.
It is possible that under such conditions the greenhouse will become deformed.
It is possible that the roof of the building will collapse under the weight of the snow.
To prevent this from happening, the white mass must be removed.
Of course, you need to shake snow off the greenhouse not only in December, but also in January, February, March. And you need to do this regularly.
During the first month of winter, it is advisable to strengthen the greenhouse.
You need to make 5 (or even more) wooden supports. The devices should look like the letter T.
It is necessary to wrap the upper part of the support with some kind of fabric.
Next, the device must be dug into the greenhouse so that the roof begins to rest against the “wooden pieces”.
