The final month of autumn has arrived.

It would seem that during this period nothing can be planted in the garden.

However, the expert of the online publication "BelNovosti", agronomist and landscape designer Anastasia Kovrizhnykh does not agree with this conclusion.

According to the specialist, there are several garden crops that are quite suitable for November planting.

  • carrot;
  • parsley;
  • radish;
  • beet;
  • dill.

An important point: we are talking exclusively about cold-resistant varieties of the above-mentioned garden crops.

In addition, the correct choice of location for winter sowing is of great importance.

Try to find an area on your country property that is well protected from drafts and is often exposed to sunlight.

After sowing, the appropriate place should be sprinkled with dry soil. The bulk mass should contain sand and peat. It is desirable that as a result of the procedure a two-centimeter layer is formed.

Before the onset of the frost period, it is necessary to protect the sowing sites by placing cut branches on them.
