It may seem that the decoration of a flower bed and a garden path is a fence that you will have to buy or make with your own hands.
Everything is much simpler. You can plant a spectacular, beautiful and completely unpretentious plant.
Anastasia Kovrizhnykh, an expert of the online publication "BelNovosti", a scientist agronomist and landscape designer, told how and when to sow alyssum.
This is a low plant with small but very fragrant flowers. A wide color palette allows you to choose plants for every taste.
You just need to know when to sow the seeds for seedlings.
You need to start in February. Taking into account the recommendations of the lunar calendar, you can start on the second day after the new moon.
1. This flower grows in neutral or slightly acidic soil. Choose a shallow container for sowing.
There should be enough space for a drainage layer, and there should be at least 5 centimeters of soil.
2. The container is placed on the southern or eastern side of the house. The air temperature should be from 10 degrees Celsius.
3. Sow the seeds evenly, slightly deepening them into the ground, but not burying them. Cover the containers with film.
4. During the day, you need to ventilate the shoots and cover them with film only at night. In the dark, turn on the phytolamp.
5. Use only warm water for watering. Until sprouts appear, the soil is moistened with a spray bottle.
6. On the 20th day after the emergence of shoots and leaves, the seedlings are transplanted into separate containers.
After planting in the ground, alyssum will not require any special care, except watering, and it will bloom until the autumn frosts.
