If you are not satisfied with the appearance of your money tree, you need to change something in the way you care for it.
As a rule, pruning helps restore the crown's density - it gives the plant the desired shape and maintains its health.
It is better to carry out the procedure in spring or early summer, when the flower enters a period of active growth.

However, sometimes gardeners pick up pruning shears in the fall as well – the main thing is that at least a month passes from the moment of pruning until the onset of frost.
Trimming a Crassula is easy. Start with preparation: the plant needs to be watered and then examined to determine which shoots need to be trimmed.
The cuts are made with sharp scissors just above the eye, that is, the place where the leaves appear.
The remaining wounds will need to be treated with charcoal or a specially designed preparation to prevent infection and speed up healing.
