Some people forget that sometimes you don’t need to use expensive fertilizers to get a good harvest.
Ordinary ash can have a very worthy effect.
Ash is especially useful for winter garlic.
First of all, it is worth noting that ash is able to normalize soil acidity levels, creating ideal conditions for the development of garlic.
Also, do not forget about the nutrients included in the fertilizer. Ash is especially rich in phosphorus, potassium and calcium.
Approximately 15 days before the planned planting work, add half a glass of the product per square meter. Then dig over the soil.
You can also enhance the effect of ash with other preparations. The product goes well with compost, for example. Take 200 ml of ash per 10 liters of organic matter.
If you also want to use superphosphate before planting winter garlic, then the interval between it and ash should be seven days.
