Moniliosis is one of the dangerous diseases that affect fruit trees. The disease is caused by a fungus that causes the crop to rot.

It is possible to fight the disease, and spring treatment alone will not be enough to combat moniliosis.

Anastasia Kovrizhnykh, an expert of the online publication "BelNovosti", an agronomist and landscape designer, told how to cure apple trees.

Treatments carried out in the spring do not yet protect the crop from rot, and the tree itself from fungus.

It is important to continue the fight against the pathogen in the fall.

Integrated approach

1. It is necessary to completely remove all rotten fruits before starting processing.

2. Then you need to carry out sanitary pruning and dispose of all damaged branches.

3. Next, you can begin processing using the appropriate preparations.

What to process

A urea solution at a concentration of 6-8% is excellent for combating moniliosis.

You can also use copper-based preparations at a concentration of 3%.

The treatment is carried out not only on the trunk and crown. It is necessary to spray the soil in the trunk area of the tree.
