The earlier you start preparing the garden bed for planting onions and garlic for the winter, the higher the chances of increasing soil fertility.

Thanks to this, the harvest will grow decently - large and juicy.

What fertilizer options should you consider?

Ash

First of all, it is worth considering that it is an affordable and decent source of potassium, as well as other important nutrients. You will not need a lot of ash.

For every square meter of soil, take up to two glasses of the product.

Superphosphate

This fertilizer also perfectly copes with the tasks of restoring soil fertility. It is customary to apply 30 grams of the preparation per square meter.

Potassium sulfate

You can also use this product to improve soil fertility. It is recommended to use 20 grams of the product per square meter.

You can use potassium magnesium sulfate instead of the indicated remedy.

Compost

For many, this option is the main one, so it is used often. At least five kilograms of fertilizer should be taken per square meter of soil.

Instead of compost, you can also use prepared manure.
