It is generally accepted that in August all chances for increasing the tomato yield and improving the condition of the fruit are lost.
Contrary to popular belief, you can still “help” the plant in the third month of summer.
To achieve this, tomato bushes need to be fed in a certain way.
But what kind of fertilizer should you use to ensure that your tomatoes are big, juicy and sweet?
Take a bucket and fill half of the container with boiling water.
Pour in 3 cups of unburned wood residue and add a little boric acid (1 tsp).
There is another important additive - iodine solution (20 milliliters). But it can be added only after the water has cooled down a little.
Stir the contents of the bucket and leave it “alone” for 24 hours.
The result will be a liquid that needs to be diluted with plain water 10 times.
Water the tomatoes with the prepared liquid solution. Watering should be done at the root. Each bush should be given 500 milliliters.
The result of the procedure will be a significant improvement in the quality of the future harvest.
