Universal remedy
While the cabbage heads are forming, it is important that the cabbage leaves are not damaged by caterpillars, slugs, or other insect pests.
To repel insects and not spoil the harvest with chemicals, the following remedy is used.
You will need:
- chalk or ash 250 g;
- 10 liters of water,
- boric acid 3-4 g;
- ammonia 1 tbsp;
- iodine 10 drops.
All ingredients are mixed in 10 liters of water.
How to use
The solution is used for spraying at a rate of approximately 0.5 liters per plant.
In addition to the fact that the additive will repel pests, the product will help to form large and dense heads of cabbage.
