If one picked cucumber turns out to be bitter, this does not mean that the entire harvest will be equally tasteless.

It is enough to take measures to save the harvest. Here are some tips that will help you fix the situation and forget about bitter vegetables.

First, water not according to a schedule, but as needed and only with warm water.

It is believed that the favorable air humidity level for cucumbers is approximately 80-90%, and soil moisture is no more than 80%.

Throughout the growing season, cucumbers are fed once every 2-3 weeks with an emphasis on potassium and phosphorus.

Thirdly, monitor the air temperature in the greenhouse – it should be comfortable.

In hot weather, cucumbers are shaded, and when the temperature drops, the doors and windows in the greenhouse are closed, and the plantings in the beds are hidden under spunbond.

Fourthly, carry out pest and disease control

To combat pests, gardeners are advised to use biological insecticides such as Fitoverm, Bitoxibacillin, etc.

If there are diseased leaves, they are removed, after which biological preparations are used - Fitosporin-M, Gamair,

"Sporobacterin" and other similar developments.
