Place
It is important to remember that strawberries will always need special conditions. The area should be well lit: the crop needs at least seven hours of light per day.
Keep the soil moist but provide good drainage.
Neighbours
Some crops will cause the berry to simply become sick without stopping. As a result, you will have to lose a significant part of the harvest.
The worst place to plant strawberries is near tomatoes and potatoes. It is also undesirable to choose peppers and eggplants for neighboring beds.
Mulching
You shouldn't leave strawberries without a decent layer of mulch. In this case, the chances of a harvest will be significantly reduced. Therefore, choose any convenient material for mulching and use it without hesitation.
