What are the methods?
Clover
The white variety of clover is useful in this matter. It is noteworthy that nothing special will need to be done.
You just need to create an "obstacle course" for the Colorado potato beetle from white clover around the potatoes.
This means that it should be planted so that the potato is completely inside its ring. It would not be superfluous to plant the plant in the aisles as well.
Why is clover so useful? Few people know that the appearance of the plant on the site will make the habitat of the Colorado potato beetle completely unsuitable.
It will also make the soil more fertile and of better quality.
The role of wormwood
Many people know that even the most harmful insects are afraid of wormwood. The Colorado potato beetle is one of them. However, simply planting wormwood will not scare the pest - more active measures must be taken.
It is recommended to proceed as follows.
Take the wormwood and chop it up. There should be enough plant material to fill a standard glass.
We send it to the bucket. We pour in the same amount of ash.
Then pour in hot water and wait 6 hours.
