Beans are not sown for seedlings. They are usually planted directly into open ground.
To avoid complications, you just need to choose a favorable day for sowing.
Anastasia Kovrizhnykh , an expert of the online publication "BelNovosti", an agronomist and landscape designer, told when to sow beans in the ground and how to do it correctly.
Beans will yield a good harvest even if grown without seedlings. The only difference is in the harvesting time.
The plant grows and bears fruit well in open ground, and there is no need to allocate space for it in a greenhouse.
The main reference point is the soil temperature. You need to wait until the soil warms up to +10 degrees Celsius.
At low temperatures, germination is impaired and the grains may rot.
If everything is done correctly, the seedlings will appear 7-10 days after sowing.
You also need to check the recommendations of the lunar calendar for gardeners and vegetable growers.
In May, beans can be sown: 3, 4, 6, 9 and 10, from 13 to 14, 18, from 20 to 24, and also from 28 to 31 May.
In June, it is advisable to sow beans between June 1st and 3rd and between June 5th and 6th.
1. The bed needs to be dug up, leveled, and holes made at intervals of 15-20 cm.
2. Before sowing, add humus and water the hole.
3. Place 2-3 grains into one hole at a depth of 3-4 cm.
4. Finally, the holes are filled with soil and the beds are watered.
