What to put in the hole before planting eggplants
When planting eggplant seedlings in the soil, use humus, wood ash and mineral mixtures (urea, ammonium nitrate).
Nitrate and urea cannot be used simultaneously with humus.
If the soil on the site is sandy, peat is added to the hole. The choice of peat depends on the acidity of the soil.
If it is elevated, lowland peat is used; if the soil is alkaline, high-moor peat is used.
A few days before planting the seedlings in the soil, it is recommended to water it with an EM preparation (Tamir, Siyanie, Emix, Baikal-EM).
It is important to understand that the initial feeding will not last long. It is necessary to regularly apply fertilizers, alternating organic and mineral ones.
Closer to flowering, eggplants will need phosphorus-potassium fertilizers.
