In spring, many gardeners are busy growing seedlings.

And during this period, the owner of a country house may find orange peel useful.

The fact is that the skin of a citrus fruit can be turned into an ideal pot for a young plant.

An interesting recommendation was shared by the expert of the online publication "BelNovosti", agronomist and landscape designer Anastasia Kovrizhnykh .

How to Turn Orange Peel into a Seedling Container

Of course, it is unlikely that you will be able to make a pot from numerous pieces of orange peel.

It is important that the crust is a solid hemisphere.

To do this, you need to take an unpeeled citrus fruit, cut it in half and use a spoon to remove the pulp from the halves.

As a result, you will get two "pots" that need to be filled with soil. Then you should put seeds in there.

Orange peel containers are good because they have a positive effect on the plant and look interesting on the windowsill.

In addition, it will be possible to transplant seedlings without removing the natural “pot”: there will be nothing wrong with the citrus peel ending up right in the soil.

Earlier, summer residents were told how to feed tomato seedlings if they are very thin.
