Currants are unpretentious, but if you do not pay attention to them, then the yield will decrease every year.
Therefore, experienced gardeners do not particularly trust folk remedies in the form of potato peelings, which are saved and dried all winter and dumped under the bushes in the spring.
The fact is that folk methods do not allow us to completely replenish the lack of nutrients that are washed out of the soil.
What to feed
Summer residents are advised to use potassium monophosphate.
To prepare the solution you will need 10 liters of warm water and just two tablespoons of mineral fertilizer.
After complete dissolution, the prepared solution is used for watering. Consumption is 2 liters per bush.
Thanks to this feeding, the berry harvest will increase, they will become larger and tastier, and the bush will receive additional protection from powdery mildew.
