Burgundy mix
It is used as a preventive or therapeutic agent. It is suitable for all cultivated plants, from fruit and vegetable to berry and ornamental.
It is intended to combat plant diseases known to gardeners and horticulturists, including fungal diseases.
How to cook
The Burgundy mixture contains copper sulfate and soda ash.
To prepare a 1% solution, you will need to dissolve 100 grams of copper sulfate in 5 liters of warm water.
Separately, you need to dissolve 100 g of soda in 5 liters of water.
While stirring constantly, pour the copper sulfate into the soda solution in a thin stream.
To prepare a 3% mixture, dissolve 300 g of copper sulfate in 1 liter of water.
Separately prepare a solution of 300 g of soda ash in 9 liters of water. Mix in a similar manner.
What is better than Bordeaux mixture?
In general, these mixtures are similar, but the advantage of Burgundy is its better solubility and the almost complete absence of sediment.
